At the Regular Meeting at Maxwellton Road
on Thursday 8th November 2007, the Lodge again opened its doors to non
Masonic organisations in order to present them with cheques.
After a most interesting introduction from Bro Tom Nixon PM, The
RWM Bro Edward Breadon made the following presentations: Alzheimers Scotland - £200,
The Boys Brigade - £200 and The Boy Scouts - £200. The largest
cheque on the night, however, was destined for MacMillan Cancer
Relief. The evening's donation of £5,578.68 brought the
Lodge's total giving to MacMillan Cancer Relief over the last
three years to £16,633.25 - a splendid effort of which the Lodge
is justly proud.

At the Regular Meeting
at Maxwellton Road on Thursday 9th November 2006, The RWM

one, but two Diplomas celebrating 50 year's service to
Freemasonry. The sprightly recipients were Bro William
Muirhead PM and the present Lodge Chaplain, Bro Derek
Bateman. They were heartily applauded by those present.
